Which one is right for you?
The Receptionist earned its reputation in office lobbies and behavioral-health private practices. ArrivSure is built for licensed care facilities. Both are good products — for different front doors.

Where ArrivSure pulls ahead for care facilities
Licensed care facilities, not office lobbies
The Receptionist's healthcare story is behavioral-health private practices — a quiet, discreet office lobby. Search their site for skilled nursing, senior living, or PBJ and you'll find nothing. ArrivSure is built around residents, families, state surveys, and CMS compliance.
The feature their own users asked for
A reviewer on their G2 page wished check-out had "an option to put in an outcome measure/survey." That's ArrivSure's whole reputation module: check-out surveys with sentiment analysis, plus automated review requests across Google, Yelp, Facebook, and Trustpilot.
A product with its own future
Sign In Solutions acquired The Receptionist in January 2026 and has said it will migrate customers to Sign In App products over time. That may work out fine — but buying in today means buying a transition. ArrivSure is one healthcare-focused product with one roadmap.
Printing that isn't tied to one model
Their help center documents a single supported printer — the Brother QL-820NWB — and users report connection drops. ArrivSure prints natively to Brother QL-series printers over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and the kiosk doubles as a print server so you can reprint badges from the dashboard or the Companion app.
What it actually costs
The Receptionist's pricing page now sells Sign In App plans: Core at $630, Enhanced at $1,260, and Pro at $1,890 per site per year, billed annually. Badge printing is included from Core, but ID scanning and pre-visit registration start at Enhanced, and SSO at Pro. Existing customers keep their legacy per-location pricing for now while the migration plan is finalized.
